The Colour of Defeat?

global

Recommended Posts

So I had a look at the fixtures / results table.

There's a lot of pink showing at the moment, & I wondered why a loss was marked in pink - you need to put on your, 'It Ain't Half Hot, Mum' Windsor Davies voice for this next bit,

'Is it because when we lose, we is Poofs??!!!"

So I thought about the colour scheme for our results.

At the moment, a win is green - but if it were red - it would spell danger - we're hot - on fire - & it's our shirt colour.

Which is why a draw should be in white - our other shirt colour. Ok - it's also a passive colour - it's peace, man - to signify both teams went home with something.

At the moment our draw colour is a peachy misty buff.

Which brings us to - shudder - the colour to mark a loss.

So what colour would best signify defeat? The colour of shame?

The colour associated with being a big bunch of losers?

Yellow?

fantastic post global.

understand the traffic light system, but i like the idea of red and white as our colours. maybe the defeats could be in black with white writing? propa club colours throughout.

love the fact we'll debate absolutely anything on here.
