  1. Past hour
  2. I heard that we're buying up some adjoining school playing field land and plans are in place to build a 'player's village'.
  3. The famous Cray Wanderers from the South Coast 😜
  4. The travelling became too much so I think he signed for Cray Wanderers.
  5. You must have missed the part where Ash said we’re building some self contained rooms into the main stand so players can relocate.
  6. Will Henry has always played down the south west area so must live down that way. Whilst I agree he would be an excellent signing there's no way he'd sign for us with the travelling involved. The keeper I think it is plays and lives much nearer to Slough.
  7. The next bit also from Jack says from playing outfield....
  8. From playing outfield. That was posted after he played outfield in some sort of testimonial.
  9. TBH I would prefer Will Henry from Chippenham. Always has a good game against us..apart from that 6-1 drubbing of course...
  10. His reason given when he quit Slough was his move to Hayling Island.
  11. Bovingdon's final League fixture of the campaign this evening where they will finish as runners up to Champions AFC Welwyn: Our last game of the season tonight at home to local rivals Sarratt FC, 6.30pm kick off bar open from 5.30pm , entry is free tonight for all come along and enjoy the sunshine, we’ll be having a BBQ and end of season drinks.

  13. Just to reliably inform you that March Town United lifted the Hinchingbrooke Cup on Wednesday evening, defeating Blackstones 3-1 in the Final at Yaxley FC, see a match report: March Town end long wait for silverware with Hinchingbrooke Cup victory over Blackstones (fenlandcitizen.co.uk)
  14. Another photograph of Real Beadford Ladies lifting (literally) the prestigious Bedfordshire FA Women's County Cup on Wednesday evening against AFC Dunstable Ladies, also see a match report. Can the Ladies do it again on Sunday 19 May at Newmarket Town FC against Wroxham FC in the Final of the Eastern Region Women's League Cup: LADIES – 2023-2024 | AFC DUNSTABLE
  15. In his garden to pressure wash the patio 😅
  16. On a more positive note, gaining promotion now hopefully means we can strengthen the squad rather than see it weakened. Plenty of national league scouts watching Marcus over the last 6 weeks. Would have been hard to keep him if we had stayed in the Isthmian league. Yes there will be some clubs in our league and the league above that have sugar daddy owners who will be able to offer him a bit more money but being the king pin of such a great Town squad whilst playing under a manager that gets the best out of him should hopefully see him flourish and progress with us next season. What has happened to Mo since he left us should be a warning. Ie..Not really settling at various clubs at the level above. Being loaned out here and there. Not getting regular starts.
  17. That certainly reads that hes going somewhere!
  18. Yesterday
  19. A cryptic message from Jack Turner on the Farnborough forum. https://farnboroughfcfans.freeforums.net/thread/1332/jack-turner
  20. I'll take your word for that Adrian.
  21. The rumour doing the rounds is that Jack Turner is making a return but I reckon it's very unlikely.
  22. How can Scott reveal who the keeper is if he hasn't even told his own manager yet. It won't be divulged until it's done and dusted.
  23. Don’t worry that sad bell will be all over this forum if/when things get tricky next season. I’m expecting some kind of half hearted begrudging well done post first though to try and gain some time. Imagine spending so much time on another teams forum as yours cant even muster one.
  24. I'd be surprised if Maidstone didn't make Mo a very good offer. He got plenty of playing time there and scored some important goals. It would be nice if we could pick up some of the top players from the Isthmian Prem. The likes of Carvalho at Wingate, Yila at Chatham (although probably on very good money there), Sam Higgins at Canvey would be a useful Cass replacement...
  25. Why not ask Scott as he is lurking on the fans forum.
