  1. Past hour
  2. How are we on Ground Shares for next season (2024/25), is this how it looks currently: Baldock Town at Arlesey Town Berkhamsted Raiders at Berkhamsted FC Dunstable Town at AFC Dunstable Burton Park Wanderers at Kettering Town (SSML status tbc) Crawley Green at 'The Brache', Luton Rushden & Higham United at AFC Rushden & Diamonds (SSML status tbc) Eynesbury United at Eynesbury Rovers FC Romania at Cheshunt FC (play-off's, SSML status tbc) AFC Welwyn at Welwyn Garden City
  3. All seems very reasonable. My only concern being that 13-16 year olds now need to pay which may deter them at a time when we are looking to grow numbers.... Of course that is said without any data to back it up and i am sure that the member card scanning data would back up this decision (i.e. demographics etc) so all good
  4. Taunton were top of the league at a point
  5. I gather three Club's in Division Two have applied for promotion to Step 6 level, AFC Welwyn, Codicote and New Bradwell St Peter, however it's looking like only AFC Welwyn and Codicote will finish in the required top 5 at the end of the season and New Bradwell St Peter will just miss out despite having a number of games in hand, I assume that criteria still applies: Projections 2024-2025 - Google Sheets (Step 7)
  6. The match programme from Latimer Road: First Team – Burton Park Wanderers fc (bpwfc.com)
  7. Today
  8. This will be an interesting affair won't it, how do we feel about £8 entry albeit including a burger, a drink and match programme:
  9. A very much in form Bovingdon, seven wins from their last nine League games, and Old Bradwell United drew 1-1 in a Division Two fixture at Green Lane back in August so let's see what tomorrow afternoon brings:
  10. I wonder if the line about investing in facilities will be ready in time for the start of the new season or if this is a year or 2 away?
  11. The match programme: vj3me8CVSheUbdQ2KR1U_Match Day Progamme v FC Romania - 27 Apr 24.pdf
  12. First increase in 3 years and still excellent value with the early bird offer at roughly £9 for adults and £8 for concessions. Membership includes pre season, academy, under 18's, ladies matches and some free tickets.,
  13. Yes, in all the divisions they have just picked the side in 2nd currently for the 2nd promotion spot for the initial projections. It does make it clear that they are just projections, obviously Hitchn Town are shown in SLC1 but they could stay up tomorrow in SLCP. Anyway, I did congratulate Real on winning the title, but do continue with your relentless negativity on anything Bedford Town-related. You seem to have missed that they can still win the title tomorrow as well.
  14. All seemed very straight forward and easy to use etc.
  15. Are the Club selling tickets for Wednesday evening at the game tomorrow ? Seems a good time to capture supporters.
  16. Early bird tickets on sale:- https://www.sloughtownfc.net/article/3269/2024/25-memberships-now-available And a new ticketing system & app. Looks good…. has anyone downloaded it yet?
  17. This week's other Non League Show featuring, amongst other Club's, former SSML Club Biggleswade Town: The Non League Football Show / 26th April 2024 - Barnet and Biggleswade Town (audioboom.com) Two Non League Show debutants in a very busy week for non league. First up an assistant Manager at a Club competing in the biggest game in English football this weekend. Barnet's number two Connor Smith, has seen success as a player and also in his first player coach role at Boreham Wood. Now in his second season with Barnet and his first as number to Dean Brennan, their second-place finish in the National League sees them just one win away from that glittering Wembley final. Just one game away from promotion is Danny Payne, in his first season as boss at Biggleswade Town he knows it’s in his hands on Saturday but with a second place play-off berth the worst-case scenario this busy entrepreneur seems to let little worry him. Rounding up the week’s bizarre non league news is Matt Badcock of the Non League Paper, FA Cup fall-out, play-off hiccups and more Managerial shifts are the order of the day.
  18. LondonEagle - Thanks for posting that, it's still very early days isn't it, for example Bedford Town are shown in the Southern League Premier Division Central which is debatable at the very least, they would have to beat an in-form Ware side in a play-off Semi Final and then AFC Dunstable or Waltham Abbey in a Final, albeit both at The Eyrie however Waltham Abbey won 1-0 there on 30 March and AFC Dunstable won 3-0, also at The Eyrie, on 19 March when it could have easily been 5 or 6-0.
  19. A Hendon v Charlton Athletic London FA Senior Cup Final then, on Monday 29 April, venue still tbc: London FA Senior Cup Quarter Finals Cray Wanderers 1 Dartford 2 Hendon 2 Sporting Bengal United 1 Charlton Athletic 4 Barking 3 Balham 0 Metropolitan Police 0 (Metropolitan Police won 5-4 on pens) London FA Senior Cup Semi Finals Metropolitan Police 1 Charlton Athletic 2 Hendon 6 Dartford 3 London FA Senior Cup Final Hendon v Charlton Athletic (Monday 29 April at either Bromley FC or Dulwich Hamlet FC)
  20. They like to think they live rent-free in our heads. In reality we just like to watch them take the bait each and every time!
  21. This one was called off at the twelfth hour and moved to Tuesday 30 April, presumably due to Cockfosters involvement in the SSML Premier Division Cup Final on Wednesday:
  22. Last night's results: Thursday 25 April Premier Division Arlesey Town 0 Colney Heath 1 Shefford Town & Campton P Cockfosters (now Tuesday 30 April) Division One Eaton Socon 0 Leighton Town Development 1 Northampton Sileby Rangers 3 Moulton FC 2 Rushden & Higham United 1 Burton Park Wanderers 4 Division Two Aston Clinton 2 New Bradwell St Peter 3
  23. Members will recall 'SSML Projections' threads for the last four campaigns so lets continue the trend for 2024/25. There's, as usual, a lengthy thread on another Forum on the subject including coverage of the SSML Projections for Steps Five and Six, the links below are examples only of how the Premier Division and Division One might look next term as well as all the other League's: Projections 2024-2025 - Google Sheets (Step 5) Projections 2024-2025 - Google Sheets (Step 6)
