on the other hand.....we do like a bit of class down at the old stadium and we might therefore raise our game somewhat to make things interesting for you.... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

 

not in any way trying to influence your thinking but we haven't lost to league or conference oppo yet this term and we've played 7 of 'em behind closed doors...not quite the same as a local FA cup tie but you get my drift I'm sure... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

 

as for crowds...well we'll bring around 14/1500 down for this one....an accurate guess based on last years FA shennanigans......my guess is therefore a gate of c2500 as a lot of neutrals will maybe want to see this one...might even get sky if we're lucky...

Hirsty, The Bridge house is your best bet mate. Our club house is nice, but not on the large side and it doesn't sell draft Lager (Que Unc).

 

The Bridge House is just 4-5 mins walk from the ground. Watch out for the locals though they may start charging you to use the bogs...only joking!!!!

The Crumpled Horn is a good bet too. A 5 minute walk across Upminster park gets you to the ground from there.

It is certainly a high quality pub having seen some of our players in there before games(when there not in the squad for that game obviously!!)

 

That in itself tells you the magnitude of the place!!

you never pay for any.....

 

designer bottles is our thing and we luuuurrrvv them...bridgey needs real ale to go with his white socks and wonder bra....(don't ask okay)..

 

loads of hot grub inside and outside but as B says not too big....who cares...we can all queue up...:)

 

best looking barmaids in the game and fit with it...

 

cash only...no horse traders...linoleum dealers or double glazing salesmen and definately no tick....

oh and by the way...this is NOT a big match...just another segement of the puzzle.....

 

the final phsyco will be a big match...

 

but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it..

 

unless the havering burgermasters interfere I see no reason for segregation...

 

lets all enjoy a good day out together...win lose or draw...

 

nice to see chrissie moore again as well...

 

three years ago we could only dream of these sort of games and it aint so long ago that fleet were on their arses...

At least at Dorking F.C. , if the weathers bad, we drink pints and pints of good old 'Wife-Beater', (Stella), then all hold onto the bar to make sure it doesn't sway too much !
