Just got back home from my eldest's school sports day. 2nd prize in the raffle was a signed Gillingham football.
2 things occurred to me, very few of those who signed it a month or so ago actually play for the Gills now, and the way the Scally is losing players, the ball could become a priceless artifact sooner rather than later if Gills continue their downward plunge.
(For sale on E-bay - 1 signed ball from a now defunct football club - starting bid 99p)

Makes you wonder what the other prizes were if that was 2nd?
A signed Hear'Say Album? A cup of urine?

Surely the cup of urine would rank higher than the football?

That would be a case of cue joke about 'I didn't know Gillingham had any players who could sign their names' but when Moussa first joined us my daughter asked him for an autograph and he put his shirt number and a X.
