It appears the pitch will not be ready in time for 21st July so if anyone knows of an away possibility give the fixtures sec a call!

An away trip to Clacton Fc would be nice in the summer sun.We went there for a friendly a few years ago ,and the facilities and pitch were quite good,as i remember..

This is one of the reasons most of the players for a time were called Hall - it was a name he knew how to spell! Jim wasn't picking the team really they were picked on the basis of the fixture secretary being able to spell their names!

Maybe Jim could give Ritchie Hanlon a call at St Albans City? They've also had their fixture v Woking at Clarence Park cancelled on the same date.
