Krooners march on. fingers crossed that we dont end up somewhere up noorf in the new year

 

Only saw the 90 minutes as I had an important engagement to go to. Camberley dominated the first 15 minutes and should of been at least 1 up. Flackwell came back into and actually took the lead from a header although keeper may of been at fault. Camberley equalised when a long range shot was deflected in. Flackwell also had a goal disallowed before ht. 2nd half belonged to Flackwell to be fair and they played a lot better than Camberley. Didnt come that close to scoring though until the last minute.

 

Long ball over the top and CB and GK mess around, CB clears straight to Flackwell forward 20 yards from goal. He manages somehow not to get the ball between the fecking great 8 yard gap between the posts with no keeper there but hits the post. Forward follows up to score rebound and he is 3 or 4 yards offside. Flackwell coach and fan rant at the assistant about the offside despite the fact he is clearly offside. Never a pop at their forward for missing a fecking open goal. Cracked me up !!

 

Camberley obviously go on and win.

 

Poor piece of banter from the Flackwell keeper as well. He hits a free kick straight out of play. Wag in crowd says "who is injured" Keeper comes back with "Never heard that one. At least I am better than your keeper he is crap". Yes indeed keeps but he only let 1 in !!!

 

Also mention for an excellent ref who even indulged in some banter with the crowd. There is the odd decent one around

Well done the Krooners. You have certainly come a long way on the pitch over the past couple of seasons. A big differnce to my first visit late 70`s when Camberley had the basic 11 players and did not even have a Sub on the bench.

Well done Camberley.

Rd 4 is as far as Ash got a few years back. Played Tow Law Town from Newcastle at home and lost 1-0. Would have been a fun journey if it had gone to a replay. Just hope for a home draw now and anything can happen.
