Well at least they haven't sacked Tilly before his big day ! (The other assistant David Crown has gone though.) I guess Tilly's future will be down to whoever gets the job, which is to be advertised - maybe he could apply !

CANV, Keegan never even had an F.A coaching badge and he got the England job ! then walked out 4 days before a big World Cup qualifer in Finland...

Tilly should take heart from that..!

I'd like to see Tilly get the job and I reckon a few of their fans will too.

 

But even if he buggers up, we could still play them in the League in a few seasons!!

Speaking to a few Shrimpers, they reckon Tilson will get the job. They've got bugger all money, and he's the only person willing to do the job for next to nothing. They'll save on wages and he'll be a fan favourite. Just hope he doesn't keep playing himself!

As much as I hate Southend United, how can they not offer Steve Cotterill the job?

 

He took Cheltenham from the Dr. Martens to Div. 2 in five seasons that four promotions!!! - Without spending a single penny. He has had a sniff at top flight Managment at Sunderland...

 

The Shrimpers are wasting a brilliant oppertunity!!!

 

But what do Chairmen know eh?

sarfend will never be able to afford Cotterill. He shouldn't be working lower than division 2 and i reckon his wage demands would reflect that.
