This smoking lark

During yesterdays Ladies cup gave V's Colchester, which we lost, although I thought we deserved something out of the game, unlucky Ladies, A linesman asked Rob Mason if would stop smoking as he (the linesman) didn't like it. Rob of course duly obliged

 

 

We have undertaken a risk assessment of the situation and

installed some appropriate signage.

 

There was no need to go to the expense of new signs, we just adapted some existing running man signs with a black marker, inserted an arrow in both directions and added a cigarette to the running mans mouth.

 

 

BUT, Can I please ask everyone to first check in which direction the lino is traveling before jogging off for your fag.

So, does this mean we can ask a Ryman lino if we dont like a decision against us to ask him to put his flag down ?

What a load of *&^% - It will soon come into affect that pubs will hand out tokens and once someone has had 3 pints they will be told they have now binge drunk and will not get anymore. Whats the betting the next thing will be ration books for how many burgers folk eat etc etc etc

I personally dont like Take That music - So i guess that gives me the right to ask all internet/music stores not to stock it

Do we stampeed? More to the point, do we herd in order to stampeed?

 

Actually, I think the linesman would be just as "miffed" if we let Simon continue his "wanderings", complete with his odd explosions of "Oi - Linesman / Ref - You - Are - A - Disgrace"

You would need to consider wind direction and speed, for if the wind was gusting in the same direction as the lino is traveling, then said smoker would need to keep in front of the lino, but if the wind is in the opposite direction then smoker should move gently in the opposite direction.

In the event of a swirling wind, then there will be a moving, total exclusion zone of 18 yards around all lino's

If enough of us smoke in the vacinity of the lino, could we create enough of a "smog" so he can't see the game? Would that give us any leverage during the game?

 

That is assuming that they DO watch the game.
