Thanks for the link, I have watched the Stones many times in the late 80's and their slide into the Kent league thanks to Jim Thompson (c***)was shocking, Have to say that it's a shame that the local council have dragged the planning issues out to such an extent that they have killed the clubs stadium by inaction, Kent needs all its clubs and all rivalries are good natured, so I hope that someone will step in and save this club that has a long and proud history.

I play for maidstone youth, and it is actually effecting everyone, because funding is being brought away from my team aswell, i hope we manage to stay afloat, but only time will tell.
