Andanotherthing
Many at the match today will not know that Chris McPhee was presented with the Supporters Player of the Year Award at the end of todays game. The presentation was only announced as I reached the snipers toilet, I turned back as did most of those still in the ground and about fifty of us gave him a clap. What a c-ck-up. Whom ever were responsible for this bad organisation should be a little ashamed.
Jeff
I did not know that. McPhee was the best Weymouth player by some distance today. We should have had a hatful but 3 points is 3 points. Kenny won first prize in the Fleet Trust raffle. Well pleased for him.
BustaGut
We heard about the award on radio Kent, via lord chas as we started driving Home
joshyv
Mcphee was poorly treated, i felt a little sorry for him, although today he seemed to spend more time on the ground today.
Richard C
He was certainly up for it. Some would say too up for it.. steaming in to challenges and very frustrated at the corner flag at the end...

Hooky The Mascot
Before the game he made a point of talking to every fleet player (to the annoyance of the Weymouth players) he also gave me an extra special hug in the handshakes Chris is a true gentleman and sorely missed. Andanotherthing
I hope his first visit back to Stonebridge road will not be remembered by him for the shabby afterthought of the Supporters(sic) Player of the Year Award presentation announcement but by the smaller moments, such as, just before kick off he took up position on the halfway line by the terrace and got a sustained round of applause, I was going to say standing ovation but we were all standing already, too such an extent Gash turned round to see what was going on. Yorkfox
It was a shame that more didnt see it, but I think there were just enough for him to realise what his efforts for the club mean to us. Nice to see his current team mates attend the presentation.
Dan Adams
I'm not sure who I miss more (or who Moore misses less perhaps?) McPhee or Bostwick. I really wish McPhee all the best. It is good he is really making his mark there as well.
behindthegoal
...yes it was pity that the announcement was made too late I had almost got to the gate when I heard it. Good to hear the applause for him at the kick off though.
