Just a point on the Nobel Literature prize question.

David is probably right, BUT...........

Derek Walcott won it in 1992. He IS listed as a British subject, born in St Lucia nad now resident in Tobago !

Where's the Umpire, when you want him ??

Sigerson Holmes

Problem is I can never think of any decent questions.

Back to books: In which book are Amy, Beth, Meg and Jo March the main characters?

Well that one I believe is Little Women, and I think the answer to Chris' question is Mycroft Holmes.

Chris??????????

Corrrrrrrrrecttttt Colin Germany.

Now your English may not be terribly good, mon ami, but the expression "Your turn next" means "You must ask a General Knowledge question now".

Schnell.

I thought you had changed it to someone gets the rights answer. waits for the thought police to decide whether it is right or not, and then you ask the next question.

Have I got that muddled somehow?
