Stotfold v Dunstable Town

Recommended Posts

Scottie dont talk about things you dont know about. It pissed down with rain all wednesday and other games were called off.

The referee had no doubt.

You need to concentrate on your own facilities. Whilst you are obviously going places with the new facilities your pitch is poor and your hospitality for visiting committee is at best pathetic

No tea before the game or at half time and after either, let alone the sight of a biscuit

Not the experience I have had - always found the Dunstable committee most welcoming on my visits to Creasey Park

Yes they do. Play in Ridgeons West Division Their last home fixture was in January. The last three were away games.

The pitch is very wet and we might need an inspection tomorrow. We are hopeful of playing although any rain after that would put Thursday's game in doubt.

I really dont understand this obsession with making clubs play 3 games a week often put in less than a week which means we have to cancel U18 games which are scheduled AFTER the SSML publish the monthly fixtures. We will have 14 league games left by the weekend and there are 9 weeks of the season to go and that includes the Easter when (in the UCL anyway) 2 games were played - Sat and Easter Monday.

I completely understand the need to get Challenge Cup games in, so why dont they play that on a Tuesday rather than a league fixture. There is absolutely no flexibility with the fixture secretary. It is the ONLY thing that we dont like about the SSML. They also publish fixtures up to christmas, then til the end of the season.

At level 4 clubs have to rearrange a postponed fixture between themselves within a set period.
