I just enjoy old fashioned Saturday and Sunday night family entertainment that's all, X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing is a throwback to when families stayed in together huddled around their tv sets watching The Generation Game, Morecambe & Wise, Opportunity Knocks, The Two Ronnies and Mike Yarwood

The Generation Game, Big Break (with Nick Nick), The Two Ronnies are all classics - not too sure if the X Factor etc. will be classified in the same way as plenty of people hate the programme and reality TV in general.

 

You mention Mike Yarwood and Opportunity Knocks - well one chap you might be interested in is Stevie Riks (You Tube him - if you like Mike Yarwood, Freddie Starr, Jon Culshaw etc. then you will love Stevie, for me he is one of the funniest people in the UK).

I have heard that Tulisa might be playing at Swindon Town's County Ground this summer.

 

However, the person responsible for organising a series of concerts there (Callum Rice) left their new board recently only weeks after being appointed.  So it's in the balance and there's not been much information about this in Swindon's news recently.
