Jonno Posted October 18, 2017 Share Posted October 18, 2017 If Hertford, or any team for that matter, have first team players coming back from injury, or bench players that need minutes, where are they supposed to go for their football? Call it an Under 25 League, call it a reserve league, call it what you want, but the second string team is there to back up the first team. We all know the rules before the season begins. As someone who has managed the reserves side at Hoddesdon for many years, I have zero issue with this. It’s part and parcel of the job. Don’t get blindsided by the term “under 25”. This is just a fancy term the league use in order to get more cash from the FA. It’s a reserve side and is used accordingly by ALL clubs. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
