Hanwell Town were winning 2 0 at one point.

Savagebee - Like I said back in August, what's the point in playing the competition, Brentford will win it as was the case last season. Also the attendance was only 271 at Reynolds Field which I thought was really disappointing.

Savagebee - Not really SSML related but I see that the Second Round tie between Wealdstone and Hayes & Yeading United is off again tonight, Wealdstone still play at Grosvenor Vale don't they, I haven't been there since the Ruislip Manor days

It is but of course the ground has changed a fair bit over the last few years since Wealdstone FC moved in.

I think they are going to try and play the game next Tuesday now.

I told my cuz (A Hayes & Yeading supporter) at 09:30 this morning that tonites game would get called off.

The Wealdstone pitch just cant handle any decent amount of rain.

Broadfields United and CB Hounslow United lock horns this evening at Preston Park, sadly Broadfields United are the only remaining SSML Club left in the competition following the demise of Harefield United, Edgware Town and Wembley in the First Round and North Greenford United on penalties at Northwood in the Second Round :

Savagebee - Any idea why it is being played at Rayners Lane, i expect Broadfields United are having to pay them a pretty penny to play at the Tithe Farm Sports and Social Club

I'm guessing it had something to do with the weather and Harefield Uniteds pitch needing a rest.

Its a nice little set up at Rayners Lane FC.

Broadfields United travel to Hampton & Richmond Borough tomorrow evening for a Middlesex FA Senior Challenge Cup Quarter Final tie, Broadfields United disposed of CB Hounslow United fairly comfortably in the last round whereas Hampton & Richmond Borough struggled throughout the ninety minutes and needed a nervy penalty shoot out to progress against lower league Harrow Borough:

Tuesday 14 January

Middlesex FA Senior Challenge Cup Quarter Final

Hampton & Richmond Borough v Broadfields United
