You’d be pretty peeved as a Maidstone fan to yet again miss out on a ‘glamour’ tie. That’s now the 3rd opportunity they’ve had to draw one of the really big boys and yet again the draw has let them down. Hopefully they’ll get tv money at least from this tie and if they can beat Ipswich away then why not one of these two?

Still a good game for them but definitely not the tie they would have wished for.

After winning against Ipswich I think it’s a guaranteed live TV match, that’s another £100k+, and if ticket prices are sensible it will be another 25,000 attendance which will be a further £100k+.

They’re building a cracking fund that should enable them to not only have a good chance of promotion, but also enough to help them maintain National League status for a few seasons at least.

More than covers the cost of their 3G renewal as well as that's happening this summer.
