Stortfords promotion to the Conference North came to an end yesterday. With only five wins and two draws out of thirty seven games, their last away journey can't come too soon. The travel, time and conflicting work commitments must have taken its toll.

It's been a total shambles for them but it was a league they never wanted to be in the first place.

I think their hope was that they'd avoid relegation this season and get transferred to the South next season. Given 3 of the current bottom 4 of the National League would go North then that would have been good for them.
