Let's hope he doesn't get injured if called upon.

We'd be up the creek without a paddle, unless Andy can wave his magic wand again and get another Louis on loan

A friend of mine is northern irish, and as soon as i mentioned it, he new who i was talking about, and remembers hearing a long time ago how to play for them, would be one of his dreams.lets hope it comes true.

Obviously it would be fantastic for Roy if he is selected but if it does happen I hope he gets to play even if only for a few minutes.

It would be pretty galling if we fail to score for the first time since December while Roy is sat on a bench. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

Good luck Roy. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Yep - Good luck Roy . Although it does n't do us any favours if he misses Fleet games, the publicity for the club would be great.

Just hope he gets selected in the match against England.

Would love him to show Ferdinand <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/afro.gif" alt="" />a a thing or two.

Good luck Roy !!

Would love to see him get a chance at that level.

Would be fantastic both for him and for the club.

Just imagine the headlines if he scored !!

As I understand it Roy won't miss any Fleet matches whatever happens. He goes to join the squad for training on Monday with the match on Wednesday and back in time for Exeter.

Before we all get carried away, he is only on standby, not in the squad yet.

His best chance of getting a game will be if the Poles mahage to injure one or two Irishmen in the match this weekend.

You are right Dave, lets keep it in perspective.

Anyone know who our last player on international standby was ? Was it Francis Kumbar ?

Indeed he was, but that was prior to joining us.

I believe it was during his spell with Zimbabwean side CAPS united.

Manny has also represented Nigeria I believe, but again that was before he joined us.

So nothing for us to get excited about.

Does anyone know if/when we had a current international on our books ?

Lard [****!!****] Damian Richardson must have been close , but sure he had finished his Eire career before joining us. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/pink_md_wht.gif" alt="" />
