I think the key word there is potential... he's got it, but he hasn't realised it, even at our level. If he thinks he would be better served by moving to Grays then ggod luck to him. Personally i reckon he'd be better served by getting his head down, working hard and playing football for us. At this stage in his career he needs to be playing regularly, and I can't see that happening for him at Grays.

If he doesn't want to play for us he should leave. It's as simple as that. I imagine there are plenty of players about who DO want to play for us right now so finding a replacement wouldn't be too hard. We shouldn't let anyone take the piss out of the club. Let's hope Gavin decides to do the decent thing and develop his career with us.

Spoke to Justin last night for his bit in Saturday's prog.... Apparently we are looking for a replacement winger.

 

In my opinion we could do worse than have a look at Danny Hazeldene who's just left Grays, at least on the short term. Remember him doing well against us in the past and he didn't play in the FA Cup for Grays so he would be available on Sat...

Utility player? Did we miss a trick here was Gavin really a quality left back or something?

Agree with Simon regarding Danny Hazeldene would be an ideal player based on past performances against us think he is more of a left winger though.

Ahhh back from hols and so much activity...

 

One of the few midfield players that have impressed me this season was the young lad from Heybridge who played on the right wing in our opening match. Young and keen and skillful..gave Danny K plenty to think about as I recall....
