Did I read it right that the league cup draw was arranged so that the winners of each group would play each other and all the runners up play each other?

 

Seems an unusual way of doing things???????????

Don't think so. The draw was printed in the Recorder the other week and I think in a previous Boro progamme. Anyway, let us get tomorrow over with first. I wonder if Reedy will have a word in Brer Mercer's ear?

Bowers & Pitsea will play either Enfield Town or Sawbridgeworth Town or Concord Rangers in the Q-Finals of the league cup.Bowers & Pitsea will play the Winners of Group A.

What fanzine mate and who are you,sorry i take it your on about Pitsea f.c v olympic f.c. in f.a.sunday cup semi-final played at Rushden and Diamonds f.c.we lost 3-1.

No worries, I have waited this long for the drink so a few more months will not hurt! So how is it going this season? You looked a much-improved side when you drew 1-1 at our place earlier in the season. I am sure you might surprise some of the big guns when you play them.

So forget all that drivel I posted previously re Sawbo....it was all cojones! So if Romford win tomorrow they will be at home (probably) to either Concord or the Townies.

Correct,in my opinion Romford will be playing Enfield Town in the Q-finals of the league cup unless sawbo dont beat concord at home tomorrow.

and that concludes the draw for the league cup, matches will take place over the weekend of........well its the tie of the round Waltham Abbey have been drawn at home to Manchester United, will they consider switching the tie to Old Trafford. Club Secretary says "no chance, Capershotts is not likely to see such a tie again for many years, we don't need the money, with our pitch we are a match for anyone......
