...I am also a member of the Dead Goalkeeper's Society so have much respect for said job. Mind you, you had a blinder that day. The save from Benstock in the second half was a little bit special. We could have racked up six the way we played.

I think we just negotiated your flat back four, but we would have taken a 2-1 at start of play.

We have only played them up their in the League cup and Finny was rested. Stuart Horne played that night, but I shall warn him at Burnham this week. Will good to see the boy Portway again this Saturday. Would love to know how much Ramblers are paying him, coz he never comes cheap.

Really, that wouldn't surprise me in his case. They have the boy O'Reilly who used to play for Sawbo there, no? And what happened to Kristian Down, haven't seen him around on the score sheets recently. But where are they getting the money from? I know they have ambitions to move on, and Burnham is great place but it is stuck in a time warp. A bit like Wales really, and definitely not that good in the middle of December!

O'Really???

Couldn't resist that. So that is £300 a match (if of course the rumours are true). But why would they continue spunking that money up the wall each week, when they have no chance of going up? Didn't they pay a few bob last season, and come Christmas when they realised that promotion was a no no, they off loaded the money boys and used kids. We drew 1-1 with them early doors last year at our place and come April in the return, it was a totally different line up and we tonked them 6-0.
