Did he? I know Gyoury did, and i can see why, but i think Moller was a big loss, and we should have pleaded with him!

Metcalfe has been doing what Metcalfe does best. Breaking things up when the opposition come forward and playing the simple ball.

I asked Eddie yesterday, can we swop Gyoury for the Cheshunt No 5, Ross White. I though he did really well in difficult circumstances and has done on the previous matches we've played - what he needed was some quality round him......

I think i'm right in saying Ross White could have signed for us a few seasons ago after he was released by Barnet (I think). We did some pre-season tour of Devon and White ws involved, but he did not sign for some reason.

 

I think Roy M was impressed with White. I certainally have been every time he's played against us this season.

I spoke to Sam and he is doing well since his op, he is doing some light training like running etc. Not sure how long until he reaches full fitness but i think he could be very useful when he returns.

Speaking of useful, I thought Mason looked very encouraging when he came towards the end of the Cheshunt match.

And he was unlucky to not to score, one to watch out for!

I was speaking with Sam in the bar after the game and he think's he'll be ready for the reserves run outs towards the end of Feb. Will be good to have him back and fully fit as another alternative in the squad if nothing else.
