Vinny's type of game today, we were saying that in the 1st half, how we could have done with him to help out Duggie up front, that was the one area where we struggled a little bit today.

Any chance of a return 4 him Unc? 1 for Choulsey I suppose....

Stowie is top draw, as are all the Ricay Strikers!

I hear he scored a cracker today, well done Chris.

I'd like to congratulate the Urchins...but rivalry and all that stuff.

So I’ll just say I never liked Lewes and we hope to take 6 points off you next season <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

As I said though, as, well a kind of neutral looking on, I was intrigued as to who he was, as he looked the part.

It'd be good if you could hold on to him. You could tell from this game just like I said after the Newport game actually, that you have a pretty good base of players to build on. A couple of shrewd signings here and there (you definitely need a slightly more solid keeper IMHO) and you'll have a very useful line up at that level.

Welcome back home Stowie and what a cracking goal yesterday, turning on the proverbial six-pence to bang that one home!

Fair play to Micky in goal, maybe not as good as some keepers we've had over there in the past, but certainly up for the cause, which is more that a good few others have done in recent months! Still no ressie keeper, which is a bit worrying. Has Abbi gone??

Yes, i believe Chris Stowe was a victim of Hornchurch's success. Went to Ricay on loan who in the league above at the time and returned in the close season scoring some goals pre-season.

With Westie, Jonah(before injured), Vinny and Taff all fighting over the striking positions, Chris never got a look in but would have been in most other Ryman teams. Scored a great goal at home to Wakering once.

Better late than never though and it was great to see him score the winner, what a moment!

Can Unc, or somebody confirm whether he originally graduated from the youth team and how old is he now?

Taken From billericaytownfc.co.uk

Chris Stowe

Forward

A bright prospect up front, Chris is now in his second spell with Billericay having originally been with us at the end of the 2002/3 season. He rejoined Town in January 2004, but injury and illness restricted his appearances. If he can stay fit, Chris is sure to add to his career Billericay Tally of 6 goals from just 9 league starts.
