Having discussed this with someone in the know, I can confirm that Claire's name is not on the deeds.

Almost as sad as checking this thread every 5 mins to see if anyone has added to it!

 

maybe HB is the man who gave it away, although all the people I spoke to last week seemed sure it was a rental arrangement!

That's true - I normally have to check with my landlady before I have a party at home.

I do check it every now and again - that's true.

 

However - people you may (or may not have...) spoken to about the house would have absolutley no idea what our arangements are.

 

The house is ours - between the 2 of us, neither of us pay any rent, and i think it's pretty pathetic that you find this so interesting.

 

No one else - apart from HB and myself know what the situation is.. If other people like to think they know better than us then good for them! They obviously have nothing better going on in their lives than to discuss this.

HB owns the house, and you give him some cash each month towards the mortgage - sounds a pretty good deal to me.

Zeal - if you would like to think that is the arangement then carry on. I have no problem with you thinking along those lines if it pleases you - but i only came on here to say i've moved house.

 

HB isn't the only one that owns the house - i do too. Get used to it - i'm not renting - unlike others in St Albans....
