Burton Albion

Does anyone believe there will be changes to the squad for this one? Surely Keeling will play, he sounds like he is on top form and bagged a couple for the reserves as did Ibe.

I'd love to see Mario get a game but who knows what's happening there exactly.

And what do we know of Burton this season?

Surely Keeling deserves to start with Clarke on the bench perhaps.

Possibility of Potter starting on the bench instead of Ash? Mckinnley to start.

Think Tait will start again with Ibe on the bench. Other than that I'm no expecting any other changes. Mario? Mario who? - starting to forget.......

I think it will be a tough battle against Burton who started their campaign with a few tough games. Hopefully the game against Gravesend will have been a wake up call and we will put in a battling performance and leave with some form of result.

i prefer keeling on the bench, when he comes on against a tired defence he runs them ragged, he is the perfect super sub

im sure he wont feel like that!!!

surely potter will go back in goal lads?

I understand the "super-sub" idea and it has merits, but is it worth having Clarke not doing much for 60-70 minutes beforehand? If Keeling can get at them from the start and keep the pressure right through the first half, and then for as long as he can in the second, surely that gives us a better chance to score? Rather than maybe chasing the game when the opposition is starting to shut up shop

I agree with muppetus G, i'd much prefer keeling to start from the off rather than sub. On his day Clark can be just as good as Keeling (we found that when we played Aldershot in the FA cup) so when keeling starts to tire then bring clark on. Also if we are holding onto a lead i feel Clark would give us a better defensive option.

BNO1 re Potter - Our new keeper Mckinney looks a quality signing, he looks every bit as good as Potter if not better, definatly commands his area better. Untill he does something wrong or gets injured Danny will just have to wait for his chance. Obviously i dont know who will start but i would of thought it will be Mckinney.

Looking forward to the REAL match report on here over the weekend <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

And Clarke sets up both goals. Be interested to see if he really played much better today. Maybe Jeff has always seen/known something in him and rode a bad patch of form.

Always good to get an away win.

If we had not conceded that last minute goal we would be looking at a top six placing!!

A brilliant performance by the lads today, every one of them a hero. Special mentions have to go to Clarke, Bimson, Boylan and McKinney, they all stood out for me. Ibe looked amazing with the ball at his feet, I've never seen anyone at this level with his ball control.

Well done also to all involved in getting Burton to allow us to go in the standing area, and also to the Burton stewards who we very helpful.

Overall a great day, let's hope the first of many!
