Wingate and finchley should hang their heads in shame. And no beer on tap what sort of place is that. I think it was the same bottled beer fiasco at edgeware last easter when we paid a mere £2 a bottle (£4 a pint) I cant believe someone has topped that place. No wonder wealdstone buggered off.

...
Edgware DO sell draft beer you pleb, as for topping the ground, at least we have one to call our own. And as for weadlscum [****!!****] off, best thing they ever did.

See you when Bwood play ETFC, you going to turn up?

Probably not as he supports Enfield & not the Town.

I see you support Haringey Greyhounds I have seen a few games at allypally in the past. I see from the greyhounds site they have won their first two games of the season:) amazing, when I used to see them they never won at all.

I may have to go and see some hockey again at allypally. Do you go regulary? is it still a fiver to get in?

Try to get to most of the Home games, I think that it's £4 to get in now. I help do the Club Shop for the Greyhounds, come & say hello if you do come up for a game.

Excellent, I am a big hockey fan, NHL team is the Chicago Blackhawks, spent some time in Chicago and learnt about the sport and went to a few games, this was back in 2000.

I have seen the London Knights, at the london arena, and the London Racers when they were at ally pally, once they moved to lea valley I stopped going, as I prefer the pally, its easier to get to for me from NW London.

I went to see the Greyhounds about 4 years ago, they lost all the time , I went to see Haringey Racers at MK a couple of years back.

I understand that the Greyhounds fans felt let down and upset when the Racers took them over, and lost their identity.

Good to see the Greyhounds back, was it last season they came back to the pally?.

Whats the big changes then? I mean two wins from two games, is almost groundbreaking !!!! not since they won the league in 99? what divison was that?.

£4 is still excellent value, it used to be £1 when I first went. Streatham charge £5 it says on their site which is also very good.

Once the season gets underway properly I will start to come along witth a couple of my mates, we may try to bring more along like we did when the Racers were there. What kind of crowds are they getting so far? It used to be around 100 or so.

What do you have in the club shop? is it in the hall ? do you sell jerseys? I saw a greyhounds jersey before very nice it was orange and blue I think.

Sorry football fans, for the Hockey talk, but its great to find a Greyhounds fan

Basically a few of us got together last year & re-formed the Greyhounds after London Racers buggered off to Lea Valley.
Last season was a losing season, though we gave even the top teams a real run for their money. This year we've managed to add a few decent players who've strenghtened us considerably & we hope to make the play-offs at least.
We're back playing in the league that we won in '99, & play each of the other teams home & away once.
Crowds haven't really changed, there are still about 100 die-hards who turn up (Including you there are actually 5 'Hounds fans on this Forum).
We do the shop just inside the rink, with things like, polo-shirts, sweats, badges. Still trying to get some replica shirts, but they cost about £45 to do each, so we'll try to get some to order.
They've got a good web-site on www.haringeygreyhounds.co.uk
Look forward to seeing you there this season!.

Thanks for the info, will try and make the Bassingstoke game in a couple of weeks. Sunday at 5.30 is a good time for Hockey games. I wish the Racers well, but I dont follow them any longer.

I used to enjoy the Greyhounds games at the pally, kind of non league Hockey if you know what I mean lol.

£5 and £2 for a prog seem a fair deal. Are the shirt logo's stiched or printed? The Greyhounds shirt I saw before was printed. What colour are the 'hounds' wearing? is it Orange and blue? or gold and yellow? Cheers for the info guys

The replica's have the logo stiched this time (Still waiting to see one to be honest, but was told they are stiched).
The colours are Royal Blue & Yellow & White again, just like when we were good!!!.
