I was gutted with last nights result, but it is only the Essex Senior Cup. People say Justin didn't take it seriously, but compare last nights team to the team that played Halstead in last years competition:

 

Wayman, Vincent, Mason, English, Swaine, Atkins, Marriner, Simmons, Poole, Williams, Stannard.

 

If things don't improve Saturday then I can understand people getting really annoyed. We need to work on our defending because it was woeful last night and it's not been great all season.

 

It took 71 points to get in the play offs last season, so judging by that we need to be looking at 50 points from our last 28 games. As Trotty put in the programme 2 points a game and we'll be up there. Things need to improve quickly if we are going to do that though.

Up to now we have taken 1.43 points per game played, so you're right in that we need to improve.

After half of the season was played last season, we were laying at 2nd place, with 1.86 points taken per game. We finished as second with 1.90 average points per game.

"Can't have everything all at once" was the phrase OZ, keep up!

 

2.5 points....although no one suggested we would get the required 2.5 points, that’s a much better effort. Feel free to try your comedy routine when ever you want, we’re more that happy to help you along in this new career <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
