I have to say I liked Neil and I'm sorry to see him go. Last season after Danny got injured and BBB cleared off, I thought in the main he played very well for us up front, but I think he's been a victim of JE not knowing his most effective line-up. I'm sure he'll easily get a new club and I bet he scores against us the next time he returns to NL.

I also wish him all the best and wouldn,t be surprised if he scored against us next time out but I feel that he has been the architect of his own downfall to a large extent. I agree he did well as a striker last season but football is a team game and when the need arose and he was asked to played in midfield he sulked around and failed to track back a trait that was again evident when he replaced Dorms at Hendon. We tried Ross in a wide midfield role and in my view his application in that position has been a lot better. Allied to this Cuzz is always likely to put in a silly tackle/challenge and see red (Folkestone) and the emergence of a similar type (and in my view better) player in Tom Poole and the likelihood that Cuzz was not a contracted player made it a bit of a cert that he would be released.

Mustafa has played a lot of his football at right back, most notably behind Janney at Dagenham, has a good engine and by all accounts a good attitude. It'll be interesting to see where he pops up for us. maybe right midfield?

I was just looking on the Heybridge forum and it looks like Neil is there now! Does that mean he can play on Saturday? :

If he was sold surely Tc would of put a clause that he could not play against us. If he went on a free then he will play.
