From the 'scabby' forum, goalkeeper Danny Potter has a go:

 

"I think it may have been all these put together that made Danny react. To be honest I cannot understand why Danny snapped. Chenners distributed the ball to the wing which was a tad overhit - the guy just shouted "nice one Chenners" but didn't swear or use any form of bad language. [color:"blue"]Danny reacted and there were comments about wages and calling the fan an "inbred". [/color] I'm not excusing the actions of the fan nor Danny - but Danny did look back over and fuelled the argument again by asking the fan to "show himself" - it should have just been left or reported."

We're always on the up fella, Canvey on the other hand are are going down. And the estuary will be a much better place.
