Ryman Predictions ( Final Table)

Lets not get carried away with todays result. We still need to see it occur on a regular basis. Lets not go overboard too early like those across the island do.We still have to be consistent at it but today was a day to celabrate a glorious and well earned win,and with the consistency we may well upset the odds and finish higher. Its so easy to fall from grace once in the clouds.

One decent performance and we are suddenly world beaters. Although we played well we could just as easily thrown it away. Bit worried about so many penaltys being conceeded. Ithink the jury must stay out until after the next two games. After all Hampton had lost their last two games so their must have been dented.

With so much doom & gloom from latest performances

we are just revelling in some improved form for a change. It may revert back to the way it was next game, who knows but hopefully the improvement will continue. No-ones saying we are world beaters. Get a grip!

Sorry correction: it doesn't even weight the results, it just divides each statistic by the number of games played so far and multiplies by 42 (total games at end of season).

In fact I have just been playing with the predicted table on Excel. Because it is rounded to whole numbers you will find that in total there are 4 more matches won than lost, and also 4 more goals scored than conceded. There is also an odd number of draws - another impossibility.

If there are any geeks looking, perhaps you can devise a more accurate program which really does take form into account.

My family think I am an extremely sad statto for being interested in this.
