I refuse to go to Old Trafford, Crap ground. City's ground on the other hand is the best British stadium I've been to.

Why do you Ricay guys consistently misinterpret my comments and take them out of context - something lacking in your command of the English language I suspect.

I am NOT comparing our new facility with Old Trafford - merely comparing the distance of the seating facilities from the pitch. In fact, I'll admit that Old Trafford is far superior to MP - the majority of their stand seats are MUCH further from the pitch than those at MP.

And you think we are enjoying "a lucky run of results" - introducing sour grapes into the equation methinks!

In my experience, there is a very fine line between fishing and making a statement of fact (as indeed there is between fishing, and sitting on a river bank looking a complete prat). Unfortunately, I am sometimes unable to differentiate between the two.

Anyway, if there IS a prize, do I get a share for taking the bait?

The match hasn't been confirmed yet Tom. I think they have a follow up inspection this week and are waiting on obtaining various licenses.

aww sorry ryan my mistake.. i thought the inspection was lasdt week, and seems as no one has said nothing they had passed!

 

if teh game was to be played at the new lodge id have to get an early train to billericay to avoid travelling with the chelmo fans, which wouldnt mean a few drinks in the railway or the crown at around midday....could be intresting!

Tom, they had an inspection last Thursday. It looks as though they've gained a bit more time from the Ryman big-wigs to get everything upto scratch. I'd fully expect the game to be at Melbourne Park Athletics Centre. As for travelling with the Chelmo hoardes, I've heard the mini is booked and has three spare seats going!
