The Cave ? Wanna explain that for us !!!!

 

Don't think we will stay there all day just an easy meeting point for people,also believe that there is another pub (The Globe) on way to the stadium,that depending the game is played in Chelmsford <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/shrug.gif" alt="" />

the globe is a very decent pub and one i suggested to keith p. keeps us away from chelmsford fans for a little while, and is a good meeting point (5 mins from station) and some of the barmaids...well....

 

But...after yesterdays performance only leaving us a point ahead of the chelmsford...We desperatly need 4 points out of braintree and hampton!!!

I note from a thread on the Ch*lmo site that they are proposing to make their clubhouse members only and charge extra on the gate to give you access to the bar. Does this mean that if we do all our drinking in the Railway Tavern that we can expect a rebate?

 

TC, if we do get to play the game on 2nd Jan at MP take your binoculars. The main stand although very grand is a bl**dy long way from the pitch. I myself will try out their RORO terracing at the ends as they look as if they might be a touch closer to the action (although if its p*ssing down you'll need to be standing next to umbrella man).

If that motion goes ahead there will be a no. of unhappy people I would guess.

Anyway Ian, could be The Globe or could be The Railway for the meet that day. Final dets to be decided.

Not adjacent to the pitch granted, but certainly no further away than the middle to rear stand seats in most premiership/championship grounds. Doesn't seem to bother the punters sitting in the back rows at Old Trafford, who regularly cough up their £60 for a birds eye view of the match.
