Reflection on todays game

The Monk

Recommended Posts

Great game today, brilliant atmosphere, a nice 3 Points and that own goal <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

Good games all round, expecially in the middle of the park, the two Cowelys controlled the game. No complaints about the back line either, Golby, King and Bostock all were great (and the other back but forgot his name <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> )

Heale held the ball up well, Holland seems to be continuing his form and it was good to see Lee back from injury.

The women ref had a suprisingly better game than I thought she would but I'm sure the Romford fans will have something to say about that <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I wasn't very impressed with Romford though, they just never looked like scoring. Perhaps one of the weakest ESL teams we've played. Really wasn't impressed. Their back line was poor and the midfield couldn't keep the ball or pass it around. Everytime they got the ball they looked like they were gonna punt it. As for their front line, where was it?? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

All in all a good day out and nice 3 points. And we can finally all put a face to that nut job weirdo zody <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Who needs Morinio ... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

Ah I made sure I wasn't introduced <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> However I was well aware of your presence thanks to Tree.

I thought I knew who you were anyway, the bald bloke with all the kids <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

It wasn't that bad a game, was it?

Seen worse.

Thought the atmosphere was great. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif" alt="" />

The ref started well but then began losing it towards the end...needed to be a bit tougher where it mattered, instead of dishing out cards for petty infringements. Ho hum...

Enjoyed watching Reedy, animated as ever.

The own goal was terrific! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/roflmao.gif" alt="" />

Anyway, best of luck for the rest of the season, Romford <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cheeburga.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cheeburga.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cheeburga.gif" alt="" /> ...xcpt when you play us again, of course. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

"A reflection on today?"

Well a great day for us of course and also for Rumford with the big gate and nice to see.

Surely the biggest winners were Fords, who took all our dosh over the bar.

Full credit to both teams for a great derby and a thoroughly deserved victory although I did feel sorry for the Centre Half with the og, but that's how it goes, if you do most of the attacking and are positive then lady luck invariably goes your way.

Nice to see you Coupe, albeit at a distance and Zodes, I thought it was the Pied Piper at first when I jumped out of the taxi but then easily knew you, but you went after the game.

Good move as well in getting HX based Barns Sports to come along, you can see them this morning at Sanders school playing Aztec.

Full credit to Dave and Lisa behind the bar, worked like trojans, thanks.

A big plus seeing Lee back, the squad is looking strong so now we turn to Brentwood and the Wabbey for the second half run in.

cheers
