Mike Cole has joined us as Physio.

Mike has left his position at QPR to join us; he’s well thought of and very experienced at football Physiotherapy. Mike was also at Dagenham & Redbridge before moving on to QPR, and lives in Essex.

Matt is delighted with this appointment and said “when you have a guy like Mike on board it’s like having an extra player in your squad”.

…………………………………..

Grant Gordon has also joined as one of Matt’s assistants, Grant has been around the Non-league game for a long while and will be a great asset. He’s been there seen it done it. Grant joins us from Thurrock and his experience should help to Guide Matt (and Billericay Town FC) down the correct path of success.

Matt is seeking another assistant/coach, and it’s hoped we can name him sometime next week. If we ‘are’ able to secure the services of said individual, I feel sure you will all approve. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smash.gif" alt="" />...: <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Welcome to Mike and Grant. Does the arrival of Mike mean Gary Ling is leaving?

No...it means he's left.

How's your Head today? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/alk.gif" alt="" />... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

What a daft quote, does he double up as an attacking full back then or something!

Electric~Soul is our new PA man, I was just commenting that it's like having a 3rd goalkeeper <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

You could have had Braintrees physio, I heard from a work mate that hes just 'gone', apparently a damn fine physio. Strangely nothing on the B'tree forum about it!!

Hi Gazza.

There's a, clearly heartfelt and, no doubt, fitting tribute to he Braintree physio on their board from that chap what does the P.A. for The Iron. Perhaps he's made the dizzy heights of an appointment as an Official.

Tony Brightwell is, or rather was, the physio for 7 years at Cressing Road apparently. Until he err.. err.. 'left' on Saturday. He will have seen some changes, no doubt.

Talking of Braintree Town, I see that Graham Roberts had a good win on Saturday for Clyde against Celtic. He has obviously come to terms with the arduous journey from Spain to wherever Clyde is in Scotland twice each week better than he managed when at the helm of the Mighty Iron. As someone else is fond of saying, 'You couldn't make it up'.

It is my understanding that Justin will only be in charge on the occasions that Fisher are defeated, someone else picks the side and takes the praise when they win Justin is there to take the flack when they lose.

I obviously don't know the circumstances reguarding Justin's departure from New Lodge but if it was his choice i think in time he well may regret his decision.
