I'm not entirely sure which ones have already been done and confirmed correct.

F: I reckon the last team to filed all English players was West Ham <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />.

H: It was definitely West Ham who were the last FA Cup winning side outside the top flight.

G: I'm not sure about this, but I know West Ham have lost to Arsenal, Man U and Chelsea in the Cup in the last 9 seasons.

I: It might well be 892.

These are not all definitely correct by the way.

Sorry, I must have misread. GNFC do hold the record for the most rounds a club has gone through. If you check the GNFC website you'll see a piece about their run in the early 50's. You are getting there!

1963/64 actually, and it was the longest time not necessarily the most rounds, although we did go from the first qualifying round through to the fourth round.

These days, the most rounds that a club could go through, which I think is what the question is is 13 which would mean that the Cup winners started in the Extra-Preliminary Round, went through the Premliminary Round, 4 Qualifying rounds and all 7 rounds of the main tournament.

According to the magazine I have the questions from and according to the answer they give to the question of "What is the number of rounds a team HAD TO GO THROUGH in one season in the F.A.CUP". The answer,(and I shall give you this one) was "NINE". New Brighton went from the preliminary to the fourth round Proper in 1956-57.

So answer to question (E) has now been covered.

Left to answer in FULL are questions,,B,,D & G.

Question A) Answer is : Kettering with 807 goals!!

Question C) Answer is : Preston North End who beat Hyde 26-0 in 1887.

SO just B),D) & G) to get now.

Full answers and the questions will be given at the end of this thread tomorrow. You still have time to answer!!

I would have been grateful JJ if you could have have put that question onto another thread (good as it is) as this is purely under F.A.CUP Trivia. No doubt however,it will be answered though so if you like we can call that question (L) the BONUS question. Thanks JJ.

O.K. Can we forget about G & N FC as they arent involved with the original question.

You may well be correct(and I am not one to argue with you JJ) so can we therefore ask my original question but by adding EXCEPT Gravesend & Northfleet just so as to keep the thread in line. Maybe to avoid complicating this thread we could just stick to the original questions. Maybe you could start up a further trivia thread JJ with other questions not relating to the FA Cup as you seem to have some good ones to ask.I Just dont want confusion to set in or stray from the FA CUP topic on this thread. Appreciated!

If you are indeed correct then this magazine needs talking to as they are clearly incorrect. This thread was only meant to be a bit of fun anyway JJ so lets not to carried away with it.If indeed G & N is the correct answer then so be it.Apologies from me and on behalf of the magazine in question. However, the answer the magazine has given will be deemed the answer in this instance.
