A very good performance from the lads. First half was a little closer. We had quite a bit of possession but didn't really penertrate their defence. Gotta say, they we difficult to break down...

Second half, we were awsome. We just kept our cool and the goals came. After that, Folkestone were shot. Lack of fittness and disipline dug themselves further into the hole.

Poole's goal was a peach. Lobbed the keeper. A typical cheeky goal from the lads. Gamo's goal was a well thumped strike.

Well done lads...lets keep it going. Even "Tash" was smiling at the bar afterwards

Good Value for the win... Ricky hardly had a thing to do. We were strong defensively throughout, and upped our game going forward in the second half to dominate possession. 2 well worked goals, although there's still plenty of room for improvement in the final 3rd... MOTM for me was Paaaaaat, although what was particularly pleasing today was that we didn't let ourselves get bullied by a side that made few concessions to the "beautiful" game.

Millard

Macca, Pat, Trotty, Kerras

Game, Hunter, Wozza, Dorms

Elder, Poole

Subs: Wareham for Poole, Henty for Game

SNU: Simmons, Drake, Brightley

lol surely Braintree are home and hosed......

the first half wasn't great although we dominated possession, they probably had the best chance. I thought they ran out of puff very quickly in the second half and the early goal was good news for us. we really dominated the game after that and were good value for the win. tom is a natural goalscorer, i hope he gets a few more opportunities although i would still look to bring in another striker to bolster the squad.

my mom was also Paaaat, thought the ref was very poor, far too many cards, but at least we won so not just a Chelmo type moan

well done to the players and managment, a fine effort, lets hope we can keep this momentum going.

Well, the photos have now been removed. I'm sorry if anyone wanted to see them, but the attitude of members of staff at the club has forced me into removing them.

For the record, I will not be attending any more matches for fear of being "indebted" to the club.

I am outraged with the behaviour of your staff.

As our man has gone public, let me just clear this up.

I asked if we could have a cd or dvd of the photos for the club.

He refused, but said we could buy them.

So, I pointed out that we allowed him free entry, allowed him to use our product and facilities to ply his trade, and allowed him free advertising on this forum to sell his product.

So it would be nice if he could in return, give us a set of photos,

This prompted a dummy spit…he’s going to tell all his friends and fellow photographers about my outrageous behaviour and he will not be coming to visit us ever again

And… this guy claims to be a Billericay Supporter.

£8 entry fee

£30 license fee (per photo)

Doesn't quite add up.

But, I can do you a special deal if you like, I'll give you £8 worth of photos free.

Let me get this right (and correct me if I'm wrong, please). You get your admission to the ground for free? You are able to wander round the club and take pictures of the match whilst watching it.

Am I right so far?

Then you go home, download the pictures onto your PC and then advertise them on this forum, inviting people and the club to buy them from you? Now all this is free...your cost into the ground and the advert...all free...

Still with me, here?

So when the club say "Okay, we let you into the ground, for free and you take your photos and then you advertise them here on this forum, for free but can we have a set of photo's on a CD" and you bitch about that...

So, lets go a bit further with this...This is okay with you isn't it? Just tell me when it isn't.

How much time does it take to up load photo's? You have to do it anyway I presume, yes? I'm sure that if you had a really good one you'll be up loading it and selling to whatever newspaper that'll buy it? Yes? And then lets look at the cost of CD's or data disc... Now I know that they don't cost that much....I do the music for the match and burn a disc for every home game...If the club wants 'em, they can have 'em...They cost me a quid mayby a quid fifty, I dunno but they're not expensive....And the music, I would download anyway...It's not quite the same thing but it does have similarities, no? I give my time, you give yours...

The time it takes you to upload the photo's onto the disc takes what, a couple of minutes? Is it the same as a music disc...Help me out here because I have yet to get into this technology....Say five minutes, with a cuppa and a fag thrown in...(not into the PC...then I can understand you'll be really pissed off)...

Am I still on track here....

Now I notice that you have put yourself down as a Billericay supporter. Hmmmmmmm....now there are some supporters who come through the turnstiles and help out at the club and pay...they give their time and the product (if there is one) to the club because they support the club. Both the supporter and the club know the limit of their support and both respect that limit...Now admittedly there are also those that don't pay...but they also give their time quietly and gratefully...

And if these people have read your posts, they'll be very glad that you won't be pitching up anymore because your post shows that the only thing you support is your wallet...

Oh and making a cheap buck out of the club and giving nowt back...

If you want to put it like that, then yes, I am out for my wallet. That's because I am a press photographer, I take photos of sport which I then sell to the papers.

With me so far you sarcastic [****!!****]?

Now, are you suggesting that I should give away all my photos for free to all and sundry?

As for admission free, I "pitched up" on Boxing Day fully expecting AND prepared to pay the £8.00 admission price and was allowed into the ground without asking or demanding, for free.

With me so far you sarcastic [****!!****]?

Are you saying that I should give away MY product for free because I wasn't asked to pay £8? I'd gladly take £8 off of the price of photos.

But since you all want something for nothing, you can all just swivel.

Do you ask the photographers from The Chronicle or The Echo (if they are in attendance) for a CD of their livelihood?

Shall I carry on you deluded idiot?

To be honest, I was being nice, I was showing you the photos from the match, just as someone from Slough did last weekend.

But forget it, I'll remember to deal with the papers who will actually regard the photography profession with a modicum of respect and understand that to buy/maintain equipment, to turn up, sit through the cold and wet is expensive and thankless. Not to mention the constant abuse you receive from so called "fans" who's only interest is to wander round the ground hurling abuse at you and physically hitting you.

After all this, you expect me to go "ok sure, I make my living from this but please, take the photos for free".

It's ok, I'm quite happy to send my work to the papers (thats right, it is my work, not a [****!!****] hobby), you should be able to see them...oh, but then you wouldn't want to pay for it would you. Since you get everything for free.

I'm also quite happy to "pitch up" at the rugby grounds, other football grounds, racecourses, cricket grounds and tennis courts around the country and make MY LIVING from people who are actually willing to pay.

I was doing YOU a favour more than you were doing me one.

So, [****!!****] off the lot of you.

Lets be fair chaps, when I asked for some photos I believed him to be a Billericay supporter, after all it does say that on his profile.

Not only that, the poor chap claims to have been abused and hit whilst at his workplace...got any photos of your attacker, or are they 30 quid each as well?

And don’t forget we were offered ten photos for the discounted price of £292

So let’s not be too hard on him, as he said, he was doing us a favour.
