Oh dear, Oh dear - have read the above thread with interest, and assume Ricay will no longer be relying upon a "professional" photographer for action photos (not that you requested his services in the first place).

Do you not have an avid (and competent) digital photographer amongst your crowd base who could perhaps fill the void left by TheManwiththeCam (not too difficult hey?) - someone of the same ilk as the Claret's Matt Bradshaw (our official club photographer). Matt produces excellent work, a selection of which appears on our forum within hours of the final whistle of all our matches, both home and away.

Good Idea BC...a supporter... a supporter who takes photos. You know what, that could work.


Before we upset tooo many people. I would like to thank the various professional photographers and newspapers that send us photo’s when we ask.



I am a little concerned about one of madcammans claims though, it's these so called fans that don't watch the game, but wander round abusing and hitting photographers.

Do you have a similar problem at Chelmsford BC?
I wonder if they be the CM chav’s that UU was referring to on the isthmian forum

However, I WAS at the City v Folkestone match at New Lodge earlier in the season, and noted that Matt was able to perform his duties for the full 90 minutes without being accosted once! Perhaps it's just the so called professional guys that incur the wrath of others!

Moving back to the game just briefly, i thought we had a very good second half and deserved our win. Defence was rock solid all afternoon, and Millard had barely anything to do as a consequence.

 

An excellent start to Matt Jones' career as Billericay manager, well done to him and all the lads.

agree with whats been said about the game. As with the game last week we looked like we had some in reserve again. The pleasing thing is that in the last two games the defence has looked as solid as it did last season.

Agree with Simon that we need a little more in the last third.

Cant really say much more than that, I agree pat played well but I think Leons passing and little touches were superb.

Defence was solid. Didnt really think we lacked much going forward thought we created good chances 2nd half and the scoreline could have easily been wider. Pat was outstanding. Also agree With pauls comments about leon, and again Nathan did not stop running.

 

Superb support aswell what was the attendance?

 

2 clean sheets, 4 goals, 2 superb performances what more can i say...Great start for MJ.

Manwiththecam you should be disgusted with yourself, if you visit the Chelmsford forum you will see that Matt Bradshaw attends CCFC games week in week out producing professional photographs for any news source that wants them but still posts them every week on the CCFC forum for his fellow fans to enjoy. Fans generally do not buy photos but still like to look at them, news sources are the income providers.

 

On a seperate note, congrats on your win this weekend, shame we couldn't manage one.

The whole team did well on Staurday and our strikers worked hard for the goals. With Nathan, Tom and Ross we have a fairly young forward line and even though they do the business, we still require an expereienced striker to take the pressure off them. One must not forget that Tom is 18 and still learning the trade. Yes, he is a talented young man but still young to deal with the pressure at this level. Especially against the "lumps" in defence who's job will be to stop him...

 

Then again, his goals to game ratio is amazing...

It's a shame the man with the cam has tried to take up so much of our Forum and distracted us from a great performance on Saturday - second half was the best we've played for ages and the committment was commendable from ALL players.

 

Even happier seeing the Ryman results. Wonder how Justin felt having nobody watching to see his team lose for him at his first home attempt. And the Margate Board must be wishing they had spent their money on a defender.

 

AND we are now only 5 points off the playoffs.
