As he was on loan the management new or old would have had no control over the players destiny so does it matter, i guess he just assumed he was a BTFC player.

Williamm isn't entirely right though... We had the option to sign him when he left Stevenage, but it was turned down because a) he wanted a fair wodge of cash and he failed to turn up for training on a couple of occasions.

Sorry Simon but you are wrong. As someone who was close to Stevenage at the time, DJ was sent back and his loan cancelled, joining BTFC was never an option,he had problems at the time probably why he never made it at Stevenage. He certainly has got his act together over the past couple of years and good luck to him, I hope he continues to progress.
