It was a pretty poor effort from us today but we ve hung on to nick all three points..fair play to hendon they battled well and their supporters did them proud....they were probably worth a point but as we have found on numerous occasions this season you dont always get the reward you deserve. An important three points for us and a big game to look forward to next week.

Congratulations on that. We deserved to be more than 1 down at half time, we weren't in it for the first half hour, and I breathed a big sigh of relief when the penalty went sailing over the bar.

We just can't score goals at the moment - 2 in our last 5 league games and they were against Redbridge. The officials did their best to help us, we had two second half corners that were most definitely not corners.

Sorry to disappoint you Billboy but the final score at Margate was 1-1.

Leon scored the goal - also missed a pen.

Brightley, Henty, Kerrigan, Sappleton, McSweeney, Dormer, Game, Hunter, Elder (D.Collins), Poole (Colton), Hodges

SNU: Simmons, A.Collins, Millard

Finished the game with Billy Colton on his own up front, and Hodges playing as a sort of auxillary forward behind him.

Ground it out - apart from a few good moves early on we never really got our passing game going and after the pen miss, Hendon probably had the best of the play.

I don't think confident is the word mate, happy with our position at the moment yes, now we have 2 big home games against your good selves and AFC Wimbledon and we know next week will be very difficult ,probably our current position will help Matt's pre match teamtalk ,although no teamtalk is usually needed when our teams come face to face.

Bring it on and let the best team win.

As long as it's us. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smilewinkgrin.gif" alt="" />
