Well of course, you would. I would say that us "caravan accommodating pikies" (as one Heybridge supporter described us a couple of weeks ago - nice fella...couldn't stop sqinting) would be lucky not to have a repeat of the 5 zip drubbing that was on hand last season....we'll just pitch up, do our level best, against Georgie's Championship team.

As I mentioned in another posting wern't able to go to see Hampton v City (Good choice in the way the City played, to many injuries at present) so came over to see your game. Not the most entertaining game I've seen this season probably give it 2 out of 5. Well done for grinding out a Win, lets hope you are celabrating at Boretree next week, send Borgy our CCFC warmest of greeting please.

Big bugger Hendon no.9 were he not? did not do alot other than one snap shot in second half.We have still got to play them twice hopefully we will have the same sucess.

Firstly I would echo Gazz's comments re the Hendon fans...Well done lads.

An ugly 3 points, our first this season?

Not a lot of passing football being played, and our midfield didn't dominate as they usually do.

But I don’t care, 3 points is 3 points, and we kept a clean sheet.

Well done Matt and his team, and a big well done to the players.

So its Boretree next week and we are in the nice position of being able to enjoy the game. It's a massive game for Braintree, this and the Wimbledon game could determine their season.

I know they will play it down, we would expect nothing else and it's the right thing for them to do, but they will be a lot more nervous than us.

So lets enjoy it, and I hope a good number of us make the journey and "travel to Braintree"

Possibly the ugliest win of the season, And i dont think there is anyone that could disagree with it being one of our poorer games.

still like weve all said 3 points is 3 points, and keeps momentum going.

"Big bugger Hendon no.9 were he not? did not do alot other than one snap shot in second half."

was it the 16 who replaced him?? cos he was even bigger.

If we make the play off's all well and good.

I know you won't expect us to lie down and give you the game, it's there to be won, we know that.

But compared to this time last season it's a lot easier, we can enjoy our remaining games and take what ever comes.

I spose our pressure, if we get that far, will be the last one or two games.

Fair play tc, but I still think you can do it. They're all having a wobble up top.

I think the top five will be from (in no particular order) Braintree, Fisher, Heybridge, Hampton and one other. As to the 'other' team, well ... Staines are struggling at home, Worthing have taken one point from their last 18. The Wombles keep dropping points to the 'lesser' sides. While Ricay are on a fine run at the mo!

Two points a game could be enough for a top five finish. If you do it, I'd be delighted for you.

Anyway, enough of all that - good luck to you, after Saturday of course!

Na, na, naah! It's still them and us.

It's just that I think you could nick that fifth spot that's all.

Oh, and it would be nice to be playing each other in Connie Sarf next season rather than, for example, Justin's current team.

As to Saturday, I might need a spot of advice about hi-fi speakers - currently getting meself into all sorts of (rather expensive) bother.
