Mixed Emotions

It was a strange feeeling today cheering as we netted three times against Romford. As an old Boro supporter of the 70's I have cheered in hundreds of Romford goals but today was the first time I cheered as Romford let them in. When we were 3-0 up I secretly hoped they might score a consolation goal so that I might give a little cheer for them - but of course it didn't happen. After reading "Coup's" piece in the Programme I felt sad. I truly hope Romford FC does not die. They deserve better. So many happy memories. Sorry for being so serious!

they deserve better and romford fc will never die till they have got loyal supporters that don't go and follow the tide supporting other clubs.....

They need supporters first before they can get loyal ones

Nah, in fairness I was pleasantly suprised by the Romford turnout, I think it went along with coups prediction of ~100. A very good attendance with 702 (I think that's what it was) it was good to see the ground crammed out and definatly the most I seen at a game since about Grays at home last year. Good game, good result
