H/T: Canvey Island 0-0 Forest Green Rovers

Reads a pretty even game and the BBC Gloucestershire reporter agrees. Currently still 15th in the League with Canvey, Cambridge and Kidderminster all drawing at the moment.

Fifty-six minutes gone and Mario Noto enteres the Referee's book for Unsporting Behaviour.

Also, with us winning and Morecambe now beating Cambridge, Canvey move up to 14th and create a three point gap. Kidderminster are still being held by Stevenage for now.

Goal for Forest Green Rovers. A penalty after a foul by Jay Conroy. Conroy booked for Unsporting Behaviour.

To add insult to injury, Cambridge have now equalised to make it 2-2 in their game with Morecambe. Back to square one, for now.

If I predicted a substitution in the next few minutes it would be Tait for Conroy and Canvey to go 4-3-3 to try and find that second goal.

Canvey remain 15th in the League by a goal difference of -1 although we do have a game in hand over Kidderminster. At the time of us winning we were 14th - three points in front of Cambridge, two points in front of Kidderminster and on joint points with Gravesend but below them due to a goal difference of -5.

Not bad for me either, twelve posts all to myself in one afternoon!

Just seen today's official attendance: 426! (36 from Forest Green). That's awful, our lowest of the season and most probably the whole of the Conference too! Where was everyone this afternoon?

Certainly makes us look more and more like a pub side. I think I prefer going away now, 'cause at least then I don't have to depress myself by looking at how much disregard Canvey-ites have for their team.

On the result side of things, it doesn't really make too much difference dropping points today - not in the grand scheme of things anyway. I'm disappointed we didn't do them, but I'll forget about that as long as we beat Woking. We can't afford to lose or even draw to them, as that will increase the gap between the two clubs. They're in the position we want to be in so beating them is vital.

As I've said many times before if these people don't want to make the effort then [****!!****] them. It's not as if they'll make the effort to get behind the team is it?

This is not aimed at you personally Yellow but we will never progress with that attitude. We have to ask why people don`t attend games and do all we can to get them through the gate on a regular basis.

The crowd was poor and the game was little better, if it wasn`t for a very strange ref i think i would have forgotten it already
