Just go back to annoying the people on the 'ricay boards or Canvey Island from where you come. We know who are new manager is and it is not Craig Edwards.

What bits that then Alan/Graham? If its the bit about him knowing who the manager is then I think, unless he really does know something from inside info, that he must only be assuming, hoping, wanting, whatever you call it, that Trotty will be our new gaffer.A bit of kidology perhaps. Or maybe there IS someone else altogether up for the job. No,I think he is just summising. Is that right Joseba? Or am I wrong again!
You're not that guy on the terraces who has just taken over the Chairmans post are you? That WOULD account for actually knowing, if indeed that were the case.
As for hoping that the new gaffer will be in attendance...I sincerely hope he is, as he will surely be on the teamsheet on the day anyway......................wont he?
Now I'm at it too!

Afraid I'm not the guy on the terraces who is the new Chairman.

However as the club have said that they hope 'THE CHOSEN ONE' will be present at the presentation after the match then Mr Edwards would have to get a helicopter from Dulwich to Hartsdown to be here on time so don't think it will be him (what an entrance though).

I still think 'THE COSEN ONE' was born in St Mary Cray (or I very much hope it is).

Am with you Joseba that it is very unlikely that it is Edwards considering he is managing Chelmsford on Saturday. Unless he left Dulwich straight after their game and sped down the M2. The club could delay the announcement until half 6 I am sure if they wanted to. After all they "hope" the new manager can be in attendance. Traffic permitting perhaps. I am speculating of course here. Very unlikely though.

It does raise the question is it Hessenthaler? Clive Walker has just signed a new contract at Dover so Hess wont be going there next season so it is a possibility.

We are being kept on tenterhooks !

Trotty is playing for us on the day. Just give him time to shower after the game & he will be with us in the clubhouse for the announcement. No bus rides,no taxis just a few steps over to the clubhouse.Oops have I given something away there!

Keith Piper in the paper this morning "We are hoping the new manager can be at the game and we are making arrangements for that". If I was a betting man I would be lumping it on Edwards to drive straight from Dulwich. But then again late on today I could have changed my mind again and thought of somebody else.

Agree MM, we mustn't assume anything. If KPs words (above) are anything to go by then I must say it dosent look bright for Trotty after all. Certainly sounds like an outsider coming in. But then again,is this a smokescreen,a diversion, from what we think after all.Its all up in the air really. We shall just have to wait till tomorrow to see the facts emerge.I must say that if Trotty dosent get the job then he's a very very unlucky man. If he isnt given the job,how will this affect his position with us.I am sure he will take a defeat in this in the most gentlemanly & professional manner though if indeed that is the case.It could be Trotty could even become assistant manager. Its all speculation isnt it.I must admit I am going over other names in my head now whereas before I wasnt.Maybe its Hess after all!

Only 1 year contract being offered. KP also says "Everone who listens to me goes off and forms an opinion. Three people would conclude three different things, so don't draw any conclusions."

I am still confident that we we be trotting to a very succesfull 2006/7 season.
