Investment:

Of course I look for investment, I would be failing in my duty as an officer at BTFC if I didn’t., you only need to look at tonight’s agenda to see that.

 

Back to the point, I have this year spoken with three potential investors, two of which are/were connected with other clubs. The one you specifically refer to, the conference south one, who indecently, is more than happy for me to reveal his name, but I have made the decision not to because then it would lead on to other people, and the names are not relevant anyway.

 

He and I did speak informally on just two occasions, the 24 hr, thing and agreed new staff and players is total Bollx by the way, the discussions we had never got to a negotiation stage.

You see Sid, where your nuts and bolts went wrong is , I prioritize, any and every decision I make, I make for what I believe will be best for Billericay town FC, and what became clear in the discussions, and I admit, the very large sum which was mentioned was very tempting, but it was NOT right for Billericay town at this time, It was me who turned down the offer. FACT.

Our club, our supporters, our team, our staff, are BTFC. It would have been a mistake in MY view, to run the possible risk of disruption for what we have built over the past couple of years.

 

Budget:

Sorry sid mate… wrong again, you’ll be pleased to know I’ve raided me coin jar and scraped enough pennies together to provide the players with the SAME amount of bread and water for another season. FACT

 

Matt Jones:

Well he has THIS WEEK, negotiated new contracts with players on behalf of Billericay, he is contracted to Billericay, he turned down a lucrative offer to move south side. He has done very well for Billericay. He has ambitions for Billericay.

He aint going nowhere MATE… FACT

 

He, his staff, and the team, are relishing the games ahead of them. FACT

FACT your not telling the real facts

FACT you talk a good game

FACT your never get your club out off Ryman

FACT your budget NEEDS to increase to get you out off Ryman

FACT You know that and that's why you are talking to other parties.

Agree with you if our board go elsewhere than Trotty they must be mad (And I am pretty sure they are not!)

 

So sidney go back down the hole you came from!

By the way good luck on Saturday lads, hope you make it as you very kindly gave us some real gems this season

....no chance, if anything, he will further unite us.

 

it's interesting that just a week ago he was a canvey supporter, now he's all worried about us.

It's a shame to see a club yours being dragged through the mud. I am sure of Matt Jones was going to leave , it would be to a football league club. The boys speak really highly of him at Fisher. I know that several clubs are looking for managers so maybe that's where sisney got his story? I wonder if we will get a chance to judge your side on Monday. it's gonna take a big effort and then to play 2 days later. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
