....with the new manager, a confident young man who wants success and will do his best to try and get us back up in the higher leagues of non-league football. lied his ideas and lets just hope the players show the same attitude towards it as he does.

The jist of what was said was

1) Opposition would be scouted and the training leading up to the game will be based on the scouting report

2) All last seasons players will/have been invited to meet Simon and will be invited to start pre season traing.

3) Simon wants to intregate the ressies, and youth teams more with the first team.

4) He has a list of targets he would like to sign.

5) Simons target is promotion

6) The players/management team and supporters will be more united then previous seasons

Can talk the talk alright. Really good deals on the shirts last night, a good turn out and nice to see some people who i've not seen in a while. Not so nice to see some others ( Matt <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> )

Come on you Royalists

see todays local paper that new manager has met the players and talked the talk with them, did that include the reserves and youth since he apparently wants to gell them all together. Have heard nothing as to when training statrs and where it will be held as im sure the club will want to protect the new sueface.

Firstly Anon it would help to know who you are.

Letters are being sent to the players from last season to detail the pre-season schedule.

This also includes a number of reserve team players from last season.

Malcolm

It is getting really tedious to keep seeing requests for Anonymous posters to declare themselves. Let it go!

If the club really wants honest feedback you need to respect the concept of Anonymous postings.

That is utter rubbish. Generally, anonymous comments are from people who want to criticise but don't want to put their name to their comments. If you want to criticise the club without offering to help with a solution, then why should the comments be taken on board?

2007, my point here is that we have a list of players that we are trying to contact in respect of pre-season training.

If this anon poster is a player with one of the sides at Windsor then it would be helpful to know if they have recieved their letter or not in case we have missed anyone.

So if you disagree with something that is posted from Anonymous is it always 'utter rubbish'.

If that's your attitude why not shut down the forum and e-mail each other, OR, accept comments from outside your circle and accept they may be positive or negative.

Either way it is feedback, and a club that is open to new ideas, might wish to hear.

'2007', just in case you missed it, I'm nothing to do with WEFC, just an onlooker with an opinion on the rubbish we have to contend with from people who aren't brave enough to put a name, or solution, to their criticisms.

'2007' what circal is this then? Malc and now geggy are two fans who are invovled in the club as well. Almost EVERYONE knows where Geggy is during match days ( he's the BFG doing the turnstiles) and can speak to him about anything. 2 years ago all i knew at the club was Chels. Now i feel like i'm a part of the club thanks to people like Malc and Geggy so to say there is a 'clique' of some sort is total and utter rubbish.

Point I was making was very simple, respect the opinons of Anonymous posters, that's the advantage of an OPEN forum.

Unless you feel like Gary and quote 'the rubbish WE have to contend with'.

the point is not aimed ditectly at you 2007 but there have been a lot of anonymous posters in the past who have posted rubish with the aim of stirrign things up between fans, especially between windsor and slough.thats one of the main reasons why people get so annoyed when people post things like that and dont leave a name by it.
