This result is nothing more than a blip. Although we want to win 'em all it is impossible to do so. We had more than enough chances today but it wasn't to be our day. All teams have games like that. 12 points from 5 games ain't bad.

 

However, the best part of my day came after the match when I met Unc and shook hands with the Gaffa. I also had a nice chat with Garry Cross. The players are as disappointed as we are for not performing to our true potential. But it is only a blip. Watch out for the backlash Canvey!

 

And Nette, you were everywhere today. You must burn a zillion calories on match days. You are a star!

Perhaps we should adopt the psychological approach to try and cut down on the number of poor refereeing decisions we have been on the end of recently. How about redecorating the Referees Room with plush carpet and free mini bar? Put in a nice foot spa so he can give the old "plates" a treat at half time etc.etc. We can chant "You're the best Ref in the league" and problem solved - dodgy offside decisions would be a thing of the past!
