After watching tuesday and saturdays performance surely w must go back to scratch getting rid of all the big time charlies who pick up in the region of 300 - 600 a week for playing like muppets.

at the ramsgate game tuesday night, ramsgate had 5 or 6 payers that used to be with margate ie olly schuzt,mark munday, liam morris,mo tako,david cory, and evan aaron perry and mark harrop is on the first team coaching staff.

why did we let these players go evan wes hammond,leroy lita,jamie winch,danny twyman the list just goes on and on.

lets go back to seriuos basic get rid all big timers and face reality we dont evan train here.y do we train in north kent?we r supposed to be margate,seriously people up in the board room surely must see this and i find it hard come to terms that being honest ramsgate our better than us and there hearts our in it our are not jim ward and all his staff have done a great job.

we need a serious look at our selfs.

Look at the league table mate you may find Margate higher then Ramsgate. Even though everyone is entitled to their opinion i think the idea to get rid of all our big name players is not a good idea otherwise we might aswell start building a team for the Kent league. We know how well these set of players can play and once they get their fingers out of their arses we will see that again and we know that we are capable of beating everyone on this league.

yeah ok name a team we played that our in the top ten in the league then the problem is we havent evan played a good team yet and were struggling this is my honest point ie boreeham wood,worthing,slough,east thurrock,staines.

only team was chelmsford and there struggling..

we need a serious look people need start being honest in this club and stop living a dream under robin trott he is not the man for the job im afraid..look at paper every friday and he always got some stupid comments ie friday paper:- ed vahid should of been smashed what sort of comment is that..

If we beat AFC Wimbledon and Bromley i think and so will many others have another view. I can say hands down if we keep playing like this we will not get promoted and we will finish mid-table.

 

We haven't played Staines yet. I thought our win away to Worthing was very good even though they are struggling, but if you consider it was the first game of the season it wasn't bad.

Tuesday and today disappointing yes, but margate do have 16 points which is pretty good.

 

Very few were predicting we would win the league anyway-expectations have risen somewhat !!

 

You don't perform well in every game anyway-its results and picking up points that count.Its sometimes harder to pick up points against supposed 'lesser teams' anyway.At least we have those points-again-no-one said we woul win every match, but agree a cup exit at this round would be a small disaster

 

We were fairly flattered by Worthing result and saw weaknesses which the manager has probably sorted .

Just how many games have you seen of Margate under Robin Trott. You say 2. Take your rubbish opinions onto your teams forum. You never made it here because you were crap.

Even after the last 3 results there is good reason for optimism. We are always going to be a threat on the break with Hockton who will get 30 goals a season. There are no really good sides in this league. We have got a lot bigger crowds and a lot better players than most teams. Against well organised sides like the last 3 teams its never going to be easy,we do need a bit more creativity in attack.

I am sure there is money to buy a couple more quality players and that should ensure that promotion is much more than just a possibility.

In the long term there is a need to create a good youth policy and develop our own players but first things first we need to get back to playing at a much higher level of football.

IF a Margate player scores 30 goals this year I will give them £150

 

If you want proof of my commitment I will see Malcolm and confirm a written arrangement to pay as and when the 30 goals are scored.

As shirt sponsorship seems to be flagging, maybe the club should offer 'goals scored' sponsorship aswell at £5 per goal (but to add that bit of spice-you pay up only when the club achieves a minimum of a draw.

 

i'e .we lose 5-4 and you pay nothing.

we win 2-0 and you contribute £10.

 

Get 50 people doing that and it would soon mount up-a flyer could be put in the wimbledon/bromley programmes which should attract a reasonable crowd,and you pledge accordingly
