Gloucester warning

No doubt everyone has noticed that Clevedon town-about 10 positions below Gloucester in their league, won 3-0 away to Welling in the FA Cup today.

A bit ominous for next week.

Hopefully, everyone will really be up for the Gloucester game and we can enjoy some cup success ,and earn some money to fund team improvements

Michaelmichael is quite right.

Gloucester are having a good season and have scored a hatful of goals so far! But they have also let in quite a number of goals and this is perhaps our passport to the next round i.e we must score more than they do!

Neither of us have a game in mid week i believe so let battle commence next Saturday!

Hello Guys

Were having a magnificent season at the moment but we are dropping too many points and letting too many leads slip such as against Eastleigh in the FA Cup when we were 2-0 up and lost 3-2. We are very very inconsistent.

The atmosphere on Saturday should be fantastic. Our fans are renowned for being some of the noisiest in the Southern League so there should be a good verbal battle between the fans. All of us are looking forward very much for you coming to Meadow Park!

As long as the battle between the fans remains vocal, we don't want another Whitstable shambles on our hands. I have been informed that you have a number of vocal fans who like to stand up "The T-End" for the duration of the match. We have been advised (much like at Whitstable) to stay away from this end of the ground. I will say that we will stand up that end when we are shooting that way, but we are NOT looking for any trouble in any way, shape or form. I am looking foward to the game and hope you can match us vocally as no-one in this league comes close.

Don't worry teabarmark there will be no trouble, that element of our support is long gone. Most of those supporters have been banned from the ground so don't expect any trouble. We are now a very family orientated club.

If you want to challenge the T-End thats fine with us but you will have a hell of a battle on your hands. To quote a Stamford fan from the weekend 'You have the best support at this level and the noise is unreal'. You've been warned. Can't wait for Saturday!!

Gloucesterfan I am afraid that I have to appologise to you for your unwanted extra supporter on Saturday. That is the 15 year old schoolboy from Broadstairs who goes by the name of Rob Butler. So please do as the majority of fans do and ignore him and his childish mutterings. It is just unfortunate that as someone who supports free speech that we have to let him have these childish mutterings. However, as you must appreicate if you decide to go on the R******e forum he has nobody to talk to except himself (I do belive he plays with himself as well).

So finally in conclusion I would appreciate it if you just ignore him and I look forward to seeing you all on Saturday at MP.

Ah, my learned friend TonyM, I am sorry that I did not make my point clear. I have been out in the Arabian sun for too long!

Gloucester record this season is such that you would expect them to score against us at home - we shouldn't mind or worry about that as we have the squad and the game to outscore them. In fact we have scored more and let in less than them in comparable games this season.

My good friend michaelmichael would prefer us not to concede the nil. This might not be possible on Saturday but we should expect at least a draw! We are looking more cohesive as a team and with Mr Hockton regaining his finishing skills of late an outright win is very very achieveable!

Abdullah the tidy-up!

I turned up at that game with only 10 minutes left, and when I pulled into the car park, what could I hear? The drumming and endless singing of the Margate fans. What could I hear from the Ramsgate end? A few murmurs. And I didn't hear a single song from the Ramsgate fans until you were 1-0 up, whereas the Margate choir were as loud as ever. Now tell me who has the better choir.

Furhtermore to Mark's point, we still had that stand rocking at 'Ricay, even though we had seen a 2-0 lead slip. Now THAT'S what vocal support is all about.
