I hear Jim put in a cheeky 7 day approach for Matty after Ilford put in a 7 dayer for one of our players.

 

I think Jim was surprised (and pleased) when Matty said yes.

 

Who was the Town player Ilford approached? and did he accept? I presume not.

Jury is still firmly out on that assumption.Especially from seeing his first 3 games.

 

Came on against Ware and played alright.Had a poor second game,and then was taken off at half time on Saturday.I've got a feeling we havn't seen the best of him yet,but to me,he looks a bit like a centre-half whos trying to play left-wing.

 

I think he's got to up his game in order to get a regular spot.At present,Smithy,Matty,and Nyman are all ahead of him in my eyes,for that Left midfield place.

Heard Matty cant play for a month due to the signing of Kojo.Both signed fron Ilford. You can only sign one player from one team within a one month period.Is this true?
